John has always loved music. When he was a lad, before he could even play the guitar, he would sometimes grab an old tennis racquet and pretend to play songs on the stereo to entertain his parents. He immediately became addicted to the endorphin rush that came from the thrill of a really great rock song. John started playing guitar around the age of 19. He, his friends and old bandmates spent many hours, weekends and years raising hell and irritating neighbors in garages across the Boise valley. Along with his fellow head-bangers, they cranked out songs from the likes of Metallica, Alice in Chains, Van Halen, AC/DC and Led Zeppelin just to name a few. John is quite the crazy personality of the group.  You can see this in his raw unhinged rhythm as he hammers away on his Gibson SGs in tribute to his favorite band of all time AC/DC.
